NSCN Khaplang on June 6-7 Khehoi meet

DIMAPUR, JULY 30 (MExN): The NSCN Khaplang has stated that the emergency meeting held at Khehoi on 6th and 7th June was merely an “instant gathering summoned by the then general secretary N. Kitovi Zhimomi purely to enforce his pre-planned conspiracy to take advantage of the un-prepared, baffled and psychologically shocked and threatened audience who were only asked to say yes or no to Presidential impeachment”. This was stated in a note issued by its ‘MIP’. The note said that the general secretary does not possess any constitutional authority to summon ‘national assembly’ or ‘national emergency’ under any circumstances except by “his excellency, the president.”
Stating that it was the “usual tradition to append one’s signature in any meeting immediately as the session starts” however it was pointed out that the “childish manner in which they are trying to befool the Nagas with attendance registration only exposes their apprehension and fear of complete rejection”. “The signature of some of the astute NSCN/GPRN officials who attended the meet only shows the witness to abject manner of the plot and subsequent condemnation”, the MIP note stated. The note said it did not in any manner “reflect as having voted, agreed or dis-agreeed on the meeting proceedings and outcome”. More over it was alleged that no discussion, deliberation or interaction were allowed and also that there was no motion requiring one to vote or to abstain.
