NSCN Khaplang on present crisis

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 1 (MExN): The NSCN Khaplang has pointed out that the “Khehoi camp insistence on validating Kitovi Zhimomi’s orchestrated urgent meeting on 6th and 7th June 2011 at Khehoi, and its repeated attempt to project the presence of some NSCN leaders during the meet, as having consented to the proceedings” only goes to show “their desperation to malign the NSCN/GPRN’s image, and also to associate the NSCN in its willful unconstitutional conduct”.
“Regardless of the intent and extent to portray authenticity of the Meet, the NSCN/GPRN had at no point of time officially sanctioned Convention of any emergency meeting or National Assembly”, stated a press note from the MIP. As such it was stated that the “NSCN is immune to the outcome of such conspiracy as well as unaware of such underhand plot”. The MIP note stated that henceforth, the “NSCN/GPRN would suggest the Khehoi Campers to immediately desist from using the nomenclature or associate themselves with NSCN/GPRN in any manner or conducts”.
The NSCN Khaplang stated that the “entire unconstitutional/unconventional proceedings, without having acquired the prior Presidential prerogative as deemed constitutional by the people’s mandate, or without the Party’s (NSCN) approval, itself has nullified the whole exercise as mock assembly and a cheap practical joke”.
“The NSCN/GPRN has therefore disowned the meet as another failed conspiracy and thus has expelled the conspirators and co-conspirators from NSCN/GPRN. The statements, actions and arguments of Khehoi campers therefore do not reflect or affect the NSCN/GPRN but only be discarded as the last writhing of the obsolete outlaws”.
Stating that it was “now evident that the Khehoi Campers are becoming even bolder, due to magnanimity and brotherly tolerance shown to them by NSCN/GPRN”, it was pointed out that the “pestering activities by few disgruntled renegades, faking themselves as armed bands and meandering in civilian areas creating unnecessary tensions and disorder, may invite NSCN/GPRN to reprimand such spiteful and despicable anti-socials”. It pointed out that the “innocent and mis-guided Naga brothers being exploited by few deranged Gang Bosses of Khehoi may have to be restrained from further spreading to other Naga areas”.
Also stating that the “NSCN/GPRN patronage to NE Indigenous revolutionaries is nothing new or to be perturbed of”, the MIP note pointed out that the “unchallenged leadership of NSCN in South-Asia and the GOI’s seriousness to parley political process with NSCN/GPRN as sole representative of the Naga people’s aspiration is an acknowledged political truth”. “The Khehoi camp efforts to play spoilsports by attempting to incite Indian Forces to contain the NSCN/GPRN’s influences over other NE-Revolutionary groups, only shows it’s belittled and insignificant existence in the face of NSCN’s colossal political stature and paternity of the region”.
It was pointed out that the “IBRF or the NEJAF and NSCN/GPRN’s role in the conglomerate is only obligatory, paternal and guardianship in nature” and that it “would be politically un-gracious on the part of the Nagas and the NSCN in particular to snub brotherly requests for guidance and patronage to other struggling people of the region”. It went on to state that the “Khehoi campers being an un-christened infant, should realize the futile wishes to compare its commercial enterprises to the NSCN’s struggle for Sovereignty”. “They may also understand the vain dramas to embroil or provoke the astute NSCN to interfere in its kitchen politics and gangsters activities”.
