DIMAPUR, JULY 16 (MExN): The National Socialist Council of Nagaland Khaplang has pointed out that the “candid admission of Khehoi gangsters that SS. Khaplang endorsed NSCN cease-fire agreement with GOI in 2001 and signing of FNR’s ‘COR’ in 2008” in itself explained it’s position and futile attempt to usurp the Presidential authority . Reprimanding the statement issued yesterday by Lt Gen Neokpao Konyak, a press note issued by the MIP stated that Lt Gen Neokpao’s “ignorance as a blind follower” was clearly revealed in his “foolish utterances asserting Khole and Kitovi signed cease-fire in contradiction to his own gang’s statement”. “If Neokpao had not been serving under Khaplang’s leadership until his expulsion, why do Neokpao resent or criticise Khaplang for expelling him from the party and the government? It is simply a case of confused and frustrated mind. An old fool like Neokpao who does not command a single soldier should rather keep mum and simply dance to the tune of his gang bosses at Khehoi”, stated the MIP note.
