NSCN (R) expels Deputy Kilonser

Dimapur, December 15 (MExN): The NSCN (R) today expelled Deputy Kilonser Khamlese Sangtam with immediate effect.

As per a press release from MIP, NSCN (R), Sangtam was expelled “for his detrimental acts against the Government in maintaining close nexus with the ousted Army Chief Jackson Pochury, despite being warned through all media houses to every NSCN (R)'s workers to refrain from doing so.”

Sangtam was “warned time and again about the consequences but he continued to defy Government’s decree, which constrained the high Office” to take the step for his willful defilement of the Ahza, the release maintained.

It also held that Jackson was “expelled for high treason in threatening top leaders and also for his failed 'Coup Attempt' of the Makury Region.”

The NSCN (R) informed that it had asked all members and groups “to refrain from maintaining any close relationships with the ousted Army Chief. It meanwhile appreciated the “wise and mature decision of the NSCN (IM) and NSCN (Khango)'s leadership in rejecting him.”

The NSCN (R), meanwhile reiterating the earlier stands, cautioned all workers to “adhere and comply to this Ahza.” It further issued a directive to all regions concerned, under NSCN (R) to “check the free movements of Jackson and his accomplices in their respective jurisdictions.”
