NSCN (R) Kilonser for Women and Child Development passes away

Dimapur, January 2 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) through MIP has expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of late Holitoli Aye, Kilonser, Women and Child Development on January 1 in Guwahati.

 


NSCN (R) MIP in a condolence message stated that late Holitoli joined the Naga National Movement in 1999 and served under various capacities and rose to the rank of Cabinet Kilonser through her sheer sincerity and leadership caliber. She was also an active member of CFSB (Ceasefire Supervisory Board) and the Serving Chairperson of Naga National Socialist Women Wing. 

 


“The late leader leaves behind her legacy as a charismatic persona, an outspoken extrovert, and a broad minded frontrunner in both social and national political fields who never said never, whenever duties and responsibilities calls,” the MIP stated while adding late Aye had been “a potential social activist, who always worked for the upliftment of the women folks, the less privileged and the downtrodden and till her last breath always stood in defence of women's dignity.”

 


“In her demise, we have lost a daring and a gallant torchbearer, a true comrade, a benevolent mother and a dearest friend and our heart deeply grieves at her departure which is beyond comprehension,” the release added. 

 


The NSCN (R) also prays that the Lord provide solace to her family members and friends during their time of grief.
