NSCN/GPRN invites Khehoi Campers to open dedate on 1988 split

It is ironic to note that few infants at Khehoi who are yet to even identify themselves with the reality, the history and politics of Indo-Naga-Myanmar political impasse that has spanned for nearly a Century, trying to relate and narrate events by blindly jotting down few distorted and dictated falsified accounts without question or second thought.
Aping NSCN image without even bothering to admit the conspiracy aided birth of their Mafiosi camp at Khehoi only as recent as on 7th June 2011, and brazenly continues to put-up various nasty facades through the Media to cover up it’s unholy nexus with every and ever conceivable criminals, crooks and deranged individuals infesting the streets and corners of the only commercial centre of the Nagas(Dimapur) indeed is a classical example of crime syndicates taking over society.
The act of mimicking MIP by Khehoi clerks to issue incredible lies, threats and intimidation to Konyak Regional Officials NSCN/GPRN in defense of it’s disgraced gang leader Kholi Konyak does in no manner deemed qualified to elicit NSCN/GPRN response.
However, it is felt obliged to give proper history lessons to young Clerks at Khehoi who in fact have never ventured beyond Mon or Dimapur and therefore unaware, unheard or unseen of the facts of genesis of 1988 bloody genocide.
It is but a compulsion to blindly rely on distorted versions verbally transmitted to them by those surviving architects of 88-massacre, who chose to unleash the same diabolic maneuver and seceded from NSCN/GPRN this year itself.
No matter how bitter or harsh, the truth has to be revealed so that Nagas are no longer kept in the dark, the decades of concealment of truth and the consequent denial and refusal to own up responsibility has done more harm than heal.
Thus, to save younger generation Nagas from further wraths for the sins/crimes of the stubborn and unrepentant predecessors, the NSCN/GPRN though aware of obvious noxious odor and rigid, ugly reactions, takes the courage to herald from the rooftop the truth.
So that unnecessary accusations, suspicions and mis-informed vengeance that has been ravaging our existence and political struggle may once and for all be put to rest and also guilts acknowledged and be forgiven, that souls of the victims may not only rest in peace but the surviving families too may get consoled and wounds be healed by the truth and the truth alone.
Ours is not to argue but to reveal specific and substantial facts that served as catalysts to bloody genocidal fury otherwise preventable or resolved in peaceful manner.
The then Col.Kholi Konyak who was also the C-n-C alone had been physically present and acted the sole superior authority in-charge of the affairs. The NSCN Chairman, ISAK CHISHI SWU had been on Foreign trip and was away somewhere in Kachin land , the Vice-Chairman SS.Khaplang was camping in Arunachal-India border, Th.Muivah had also been camping at CHQ.
The crisis itself is called crisis because there had been no official decree issued by the Chairman, Vice-chairman, General Secretary, the Council or by the Party.
As precisely admitted by Khehoi Camp clerks, there had been no sanctioned executions, arrests, detentions etc but purely a spontaneous and unilateral massacres selectively carried out on orders from Col.Kholi konyak.
As a prelude to the massacre, the surviving witness, Lt.Gen.Khango Konyak, His Excellency, the Vice-President NSCN/GPRN,  then  Lt.Col. was ordered by Col.  Kholi Konyak to seize every weapons and related combat materials at the disposals of non-Konyak Naga Army including the Pangmi cadres.
Thus the CHQ where Th.Muivah had been staying and mobile party(Naga Army) stationed at Chopkho village were stripped of all Arms, Ammos, explosives etc and left vulnerable and defenseless.
Meantime, Dy.Kilonser Peyong Konyak and Sgt.Maj.Lanu Phom were actively involved in thrashing peace deal with Manipuri Outfits and ULFA’s Camps in the immediate vicinity to refrain from imminent massacre.
Where as it is also pertinent to cite this particular state of animosity that Col.Kholi Konyak had already nurtured against the Tangkhuls particularly because of his intolerance against Maj.Hau Tangkhul, who not only acted in insubordination of Col.Kholi but constantly indulged in insinuations and also heaped insults and derogatory comments and actions directed at Col.Kholi.
Besides this, there had also been several instances of brutalities and unjustified corporal punishments and tortures meted out to both civilian members and Naga Army cadres from Konyak tribe in the hands of Tangkhul Army officers including Maj.Hau Tangkhul.
The unease and tensions had steadily but dangerously been simmering between the two tribes in particular but finally turned to ugly factional cleansing due to absence of three top leaders and communication gaps between them.
At the opportune chance, Col.Kholi Konyak ordered more than hundred (100) Naga Army at his command and mostly from Konyak tribes  to launch abrupt attack on the defenseless CHQ and mercilessly liquidated Naga National workers in which more than Two Hundred (200)
Tangkhuls lost their lives. Around eighty percent(80%) of the total casualties incurred were Tangkhuls, however workers from other Naga tribes also lost several precious lives.
The then Maj.Athrom Konyak now SS.Kilonser in Khehoi gang, Late Lt.Chintok Konyak and Salem Konyak among others were the most prominent Officers who actively collaborated in the killing spree.
It was Lt.Chintok Konyak, who without compunction for human lives or military ethics, at point-blank riddled Dy.Chief.Ashiho Mao and his infant son strapped to Ashiho’s back with a full burst of Sub-Machine gun despite aware of the pre-arranged surrender and mercy plead of Ashiho.
These are the few irrefutable evidences of Col.Kholi Konyak who not only orchestrated the bloody orgy but physically present and supervised the whole sequence of massacres that lasted for weeks. Since then, Col.Kholi Konyak along with the seized weapons and unrepentant evil conscience established his separated and isolated camp far aloof and away from the present, re-organised NSCN/GPRN GHQ, CHQ etc.
All the while Kholi had been doing penance but ironic because of his stubborn refusal to admit his actions.
The rest of Kholi Konyak’s martial testimonies and blood spills can be confirmed from his own 50th anniversary Souvenir, same time any doubts if require material evidences, the NSCN/GPRN is always ready to provide.

Issued by-MIP NSCN/GPRN.
