NSCN/GPRN pay last respects to Col Sisou

DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): The National Socialist Council of Nagalim expressed sadness over the untimely demise of Late Col. Sisou Rhi on 21st July 2011 at 5 am in his resident, Jalukie Zangdi village, after prolong illness. His funeral function was conducted at General Headquarter, Naga Army in the presence of Kilo Kilonser, Steering Members, Council of Kilonsers, Longvipu and distinguish rank & files of the NSCN and family members along with many other well wishers. A press note from the MIP described him as a brave and committed soldier. During the program condolence message of Yaruiwo, Isak Chishi Swu was read out by Mr. Kedutsii Tsuziih, Steering Executive. Condolence messages of the Longvipu, Naga Army and Adjutant General were also read out subsequently. The condolence message was also delivered by Kilo Kilonser, Mr. Rh. Raising, Longvipu, Naga Army, Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson, President, Chakhesang Hoho Dimapur District, and many other well wishers both from the NSCN, civil societies and individual. The funeral was administered by Rev. Heutui, Pastor, CHQ, Hebron.
In his condolence message Isak Chishi Swu paid tribute for the service he had rendered to the Naga nation and conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members. In another message, Longvipu, Naga Army, Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson expressed pain over the passing of comrade Sisou stating that his untimely demise was a big loss for the nation and Naga army in particular where he served selflessly till his last breath. The Longvipu stated that the invaluable contributions and noble service offered by Col Sisou will go down well in the book of Naga history. In another condolence message Adjutant General GHQ, Naga Army Maj Gen M. Joshua pointed out that comrade Sisou will always be remembered and cherished and that in him, the family in particular and the Naga nation in general had lost a great son of the soil.
