KOHIMA, MAY 7 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has urged proprietors of schools and colleges to voluntarily come forward and frame modalities for fee waivers for students. It has also asked house owners to consider rent waivers for tenants, particularly for students, for the lockdown duration. A press release from the NSF President, Ninoto Awomi and Vice President, Dievi Yano said that the student community in particular is facing tremendous hardship due to the current COVID-19 crisis. It appealed to the Naga people to extend all possible help to everyone in need in their own respective capacities. It meanwhile said that this appeal should not be misconstrued as such acts are at the sole discretion of those concerned.
