NSRLM Kiphire block raise awareness on different schemes & benefits

Kiphire, February 8 (MExN): Nagaland State Rural livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) under Rural Development (RD), Kiphire block organised two-day FI-Mela on February 3 and 4 in convergence with various departments.
Block Programme Manager, Ripise T Sangtam highlighted the overview of NSRLM Kiphire block. Resource persons from theline departments of social welfare, Agriculture, National Health Mission, Labour and State bank of India Kiphire attended the programme, highlighting about different schemes and benefits to the public and SGHs in particular.
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), health card was shared by Limawati Sangtam District Programme Manager, NHM Kiphire, while LDM SBI Kiphire Sarei muinao Kiphire emphasised on benefits of PM-Mudra, APY, PMBSY and PMJJBY schemes. Followed by S Yangkhumong AFA department of agriculture shared on PM-Kisan, and assured the SHGs members to avail the welfare schemes and also the department of social welfare & Labour expressed various health and Insurance schemes to the gathering.
Rothrongki, Labour Inspector shared PMSYM Pension scheme for the poor labourer under unorganized sector which is eligible from 18 to 40 years and when the beneficiary attend the age of 60 years he or she will get a monthly pension of Rs 3000 per month. Limitsung, District Coordinator social and welfare department spoke on PMMVY schemes.
Yangdongse, ADPM DMMU NSRLM Kiphire in his keynote address encourage and exhorted the women shgs to focus on their works and also give more importance about their livelihoods. DC-FI NSRLM Kiphire Rothrongse sangtam in his brief note shared about social security schemes and he encouraged all SHGs membersto open Individual bank accounts inorder to avail the services and schemes. Earlier the invocation prayer was led by BLF president and the programme was chaired by Risela DEO, Vote of thanks was delivered by C Rolise Sangtam. Altogether More than 400 participants from 22 Villages attended the programme.
