Prof Pradeshi Lal, Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University (NU) inaugurated the Nagaland University Silver Jubilee Memorial benches, donated by the Nagaland University Research Scholars Forum (NURSF) outside the Central Library, Nagaland University on February 21.

After the inauguration of the benches, the official logo of the NURSF was also released by the Vice-Chancellor. Prof Lal in his short speech acknowledged the scholars community for their contribution towards the university. He expressed hope that someday Nagaland University will also grow at par with other universities in the country and added that the university was working tirelessly towards achieving that goal.

The programme was chaired by Zevivonu Thakro, General Secretary, NURSF while Sentiyanger Longkumer, Co-convenor said the vote of thanks. The inauguration programme was followed by a tea party.
