Dimapur, March 17 (MExN): The Excise Narcotic Cell enforcement duty party apprehended one Prama Pandit (55years), R/o Lanka, Hojai Assam at Master Colony, Kuda Village, Dimapur and recovered 40 grams of heroin/brown sugar from his possession on March 15.
On questioning, the accused disclosed that he used to procure drugs from Jorhat, Assam and sell them to customers in Dimapur for the past 7-8 months. In this connection, the accused has been booked under relevant sections of NDPS Act 1985, S Changlei Angh, Deputy Commissioner of Excise (NC) stated in a press release on Tuesday.
