Dimapur, July 20 (MExN): The Out Patient Department (OPD) and other medical services of the Dimapur District Hospital are still continuing in other locations and have not ceased to function, health officials said on Monday.
Dimapur Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Antoly, set the record straight on July 20 while addressing the District Task Force meeting. Presently the OPD services are functioning from Urban Primary Health Centres in Duncan Basti and Burma Camp, she said.
She also informed that the Government has a policy not to stop immunization and advised all the colony/ village leaders to convey the message in their respective wards, the DIPR reported.
Further, Dimapur Medical Superintendent, Dr Kheshito informed that antiretroviral therapy (ART) centers are presently functioning Opposite Fire Brigade; District Tuberculosis Center functioning Opposite Super Market; District Mental Health Programme at Urban Primary Health Center and Oral Substitute Therapy at Super Market, Dimapur, the DIPR report stated.
