An Opinion On Rock Knock Festival

•-Dealing with students on a daily basis for quite some time now, I guess there is no harm in giving some advice.
With so many good intentions for students entering young adulthood, who are at the threshold of their careers, the organizers have come up with the Rock Knock Festival and there are many ways to benefit from, be it career, lifestyle, well-being, etc. It is also heartening to know that alcohol and tobacco will be strictly prohibited.
However, no matter how much prior advice is given, it is often noticed in schools that bad students always go off limits, whenever there is an opportunity and for many idle students, this may seem like an event to hang out with friends and have fun. And having fun, I guess you know what I mean. Hence it should be no surprise if some parents are wary about the outcome.
As far as tradition goes, rock music and decency do not go very well together. The same story goes in western culture too, where rock concerts and proms are an annual headache for many parents. The biggest worries are the risky behaviors associated with drunk driving, drugs and unsafe sex.
Therefore, students and youngsters who view this festival like any other head-banging rock concert to hang around, why not stay home and wait for your results. Drug/alcohol-related accidents or troubles should not be a part of the Festival, so that your parents will not feel that the organizers are trying to seize advantage of the vulnerabilities of our young generation, as there is money involved.
