Chümoukedima, February 20 (MExN): North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Chümoukedima in collaboration with Vedhik IAS Academy, organised an orientation programme for students on ‘You can crack UPSC and NPSC’ exams at NEISSR hall. The programme focused on providing guidance to students aspiring to excel in the UPSC and NPSC exams.
Dr Rev Fr CP Anto delivered the welcome address, providing insights about the institute and highlighting the significance of civil service exams in bringing about positive societal changes. In his address, he also acknowledged Kezevituo Suokhrie, a 4th-semester MSW student, for winning a bronze medal in Basketball at the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024.
Aashik Kafoor, a mentor from Vedhik IAS Academy, addressed the students by emphasizing the significance of the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) in competitive exams. He shared his life experiences, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and contribute to societal transformation by becoming influential leaders. He also urged students to enhance their logical ability through dedicated and consistent effort. The practical approach suggested by Kafoor aims to equip students with the skills necessary for success in these challenging examinations.
The programme concluded with a question and answer session, allowing students to seek clarification and gain additional insights. Vitsala Sangtam, MSW 4th Semester NEISSR, chaired the programme.
