The State Government is making necessary arrangement for the two persons injured in the December 4 Oting incident and currently admitted at the Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh, Assam, a top state government official informed today.
The official added that both financial and security arrangement are in place. As per the official, the district administration of Mon has been entrusted to do all the necessary action.
Meanwhile, an official of Mon district administration informed that an ASI level Police officer has been deputed at Dibrugarh for security.
We are also constantly in touch and coordinating with the Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police regarding the matter, the official maintained.
Reportedly, village representatives are present at the hospital.
Meanwhile, it was informed that both the injured under treatment are reportedly stable but not out of critical zone.
