During the last eight days, more than one lakh twenty thousand tourists have visited the Naga Heritage Village Kisama, the main venue of the ongoing 23rd edition of the Hornbill Festival.
According to statistics provided by the State Tourism department, the cumulative footfall as on December 8 stood at 128,344.
On December 8, there were 13,189 visitors to the venue, out of which 46 were foreign tourists, while 5021 were domestic and 8122 locals.
Though arrival of tourists from abroad showed a declining trend during the last 8 days, footfall of domestic and local visitors have increased.
