Chümoukedima, August 29 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Railways & Textiles, Darshana Jardosh on the second day of his three day visit had an interaction meeting with the Administration & HODs of Chümoukedima district at DC conference hall, Chümoukedima on August 29.
According to a DIPR report, during the interaction, it was informed that she will be visiting all the States of North East as per the instructions of DONER. Her visits to Chümoukedima district is to understand what is happening in the district and what difficulties they are facing so that she can convey to the central Government and looked into the needs of the State.
The meeting was chaired by ADC, Chümoukedima, Dr Kuzonyi Wideo, where he welcomed the minister and appreciated the efforts she has taken to visit Chümoukedima district. During the interaction various departments including RD, Agriculture, social welfare, Food & civil supplies, Soil, Health, Power, PWD (R&B), PHED, Sericulture, Handicraft industries highlighted the progress of various schemes under their department and ongoing projects.
After the interaction, she visited the sites at Dhansiripar village for distribution of fly shuttle frame looms, weavers, inaugurated SAMARTH training program. She visited Eri Rearing village and sericulture farm at Dhansiripar village; Diezephe craft village; Sovima M/S Heirloom Naga, HL&HC Design & Development centre; dragon fruit farm at Chümoukedima; and Jan Jal Mission at Kirha village respectively.
