Mokokchung, December 13 (MExN): Patients Attendant’s Lodge Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) was inaugurated at the vicinity of Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung and District TB Hospital Mokokchung Majakong Ward on December 12.
State Mission Director DAY- NULM S Tekatuba Aier inaugurated the building as the chief guest, informed a DIPR report.
Speaking in the programme, the Director called upon all the stakeholders of the lodge to have a sense of belongingness and responsibilities and also frame out the best management policies of the lodge. He also requests the committee members to avail the lodge facilities to all the patients from neighboring districts. According to Department source the project is initiated under the scheme, Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) under the national flagship programme Deendayal Antyo Daya Yojana- National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY-NULM).
Short speeches were delivered by Medical Superintendent Mokokchung and Chairman Majakong ward with vote of thanks by ADC & Chairman DUDA Mokokchung W. Manpai Phom.
