Patton seeks cooperation from neighboring states

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 1 (MExN):Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton on behalf of all the rank and file of Nagaland BJP has appealed the neighboring states of Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh to extend full cooperation towards the “magnanimous effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to bring long lasting peace in the entire North East.” 


In a press statement on Friday, Patton said the Indo-Naga political talks has been a political issue of more than seven decades and it is because of the “strong and determined and visionary decision of the present day NDA government that the protracted Naga political settlement has come to a logical conclusion which is in the interest of all the Northeastern states.”


It has therefore appealed the neighboring states to extend full cooperation towards inking the final Indo-Naga settlement.
