Phek, February 10 (MExN): The Phek District Pensioner’s Association (PDPA) had celebrated its 35th year of existence and the 14th annual general meeting 2022 on February 9 at Phek Town hall with MLA, Kukholuzo Nienu as the special guest.
According to a DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, Azo appreciated the contributions and good services of the pensioners of Phek district and urged them to be good and God-fearing in their new life.
He urged them to be an example of living a healthy life- healthy diet as well as exercise for long life.
Phek SBI Brach Manager, Duhusu Kezo in his short speech requested pensioners to know the guideline terms and conditions on how to draw money and if confusion arises then bank personnel are always ready to help. He spoke on the importance of SMS alerts and a joint account book where we need to check from time to time so that money is safe in the bank.
The new office bearers were also selected for the tenure of 2022-2024 with President- Yeveyi Sapuh, Secretary- Veposa Venuh and Treasurer Wezute Wetsah.
