Niketu Iralu with members of CTC faculty after inauguration of the Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action on November 10.
Mokokchung, November 11 (MExN): The Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) was inaugurated on November 10 in a simple ceremony at 8 am by Niketu Iralu, who was the guest speaker for the CTC Thanksgiving Day program.
Along with the members of the faculty and staff, the occasion was graced by the presence of Rev. Athem Cote, who offered the dedicatory prayer for the Centre. The inaugural function was jointly observed with the CTC Thanksgiving Day. In his speech, the guest speaker urged the Clark community to be true to God’s calling for each individual and to listen to both our heart and mind in order to live our life. He also made an interesting illustration of how different Nagaland is, before and after 6:00 am and how these two worlds need to meet and form a balance in order to establish a better Nagaland that many envision and are working towards.
The inception of CCPRA by an institution like CTC according to Iralu was truly a great contribution to the Naga society and he hopes that through this Centre the work of peace and reconciliation in our land will attain greater milestone.
