Peren, February 8 (MExN): The monthly Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on February 8 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS.
During the meeting, a DIPR report stated that the proposal for extension of date for celebration of Peren district jubilee programme was put forward by ADC Peren where in the board agreed to defer to the month of October/November (tentatively), 2022.
Further, ADC Peren appealed to all the heads of offices to come forward, extend full support and organise departmental programmes as part of the pre-celebration.
DDMA Peren DPA, Kedigong informed the house that mock exercises on earthquake shall be conducted at Jalukie on February 17 and 18 as preparedness measure to response to emergencies. In this regard, the DC has called for active participation from all the members.
During the meeting, President of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) also gave a short presentation on behalf of the PWDs, Peren.
For the next DPDB meeting, PWD (R&B) was entrusted to give PowerPoint presentation on their departmental activities.
