Phuye Old Village hosts 60th SRSU conference

Zunheboto, January 9 (MExN):  The 60th SRSU conference was hosted by Phuye Old Village, Zunheboto District on January 7.

Speaking as the special guest, Advisor H Khehovi said the “all knowing God is  impartial” and urged the students to be sincere and dedicated in their studies.

He encouraged that today they might be attending a conference as a student but one day they will find themselves “sitting on the dias as somebody well recognized and respected by the society.”

Khehovi advised the students to live as if they were to die tomorrow and live an exemplary life by showing humaneness to their fellow beings and value life and fulfill their parents’ dreams and for themselves.

As per a press release from Media cell Advisor Tourism, Art and Culture, the Advisor further urged the students to “always remember God in all of their endeavours, because God help those who help themselves.”

Earlier during the programme, the Advisor gave away late Kito H Yeputhomi (Gold medalist) meritorious award sponsored by the Advisor himself to Angukali N Shikhu for securing top 10 position in class 12 from Chaitanya Techno School Visakapatnam (AP) under CBSE. 

While giving away the award, the Advisor cited an example of his struggling life as a student to be where he is now at the moment. He said he was not a ready-made successful man but it was God who helped him because he helped himself.
