PMNDP review meeting held in Kohima

Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) review meeting was held at Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Kohima on October 30. District officials, Dialysis Technicians and staffs of Kohima and Mokokchung participated in the review meeting.  

It was chaired by the Deputy Director (NVBDCP) Dr Neisakho Kere, Nodal Officer, PMNDP. Opening remark was presented by Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru, Mission Director, NHM. He expressed hope that the review meeting will be helpful in improving the Dialysis centres in both Kohima and Mokokchung. A presentation on Dialysis was given by Dr. Manong Chohwanglim, MD (Medicine), DM (Nephrology). 

The presentation was followed by interactions with the District officials involving discussions and suggestions on improving Dialysis facilities in the two Districts. The meeting ended with vote of thanks from Dr I Talitemsula Jamir, Joint Director & SPO (NVBDCP).
