DIMAPUR, AUGUST 3 (MExN): In view of the recent incident involving the theft of two abandoned Boleros in the capital, the office of the Superintendent of Police, Kohima has issued the following advisory in the interest of public security. All the vehicle owners are advised not to leave their vehicles, unattended. A driver of reliable background should always be made to attend to the vehicle whenever on duty, stated the advisory. Also all vehicle owners (especially Boleros) should make arrangements for secure garages at their place of residence. Likewise all the vehicle owners are also encouraged to avail of the GPS services which are available at affordable prices from the various private firm. The advisory has sought public co-operation and support toward these measures pointing out that this will ultimately ensure an effective check on car lifting in the state capital.
