Kohima, July 21 (MExN): A total 6-hour shutdown of power supply in Chakhabama and Chozuba areas is scheduled from July 23 to 26, the power department informed. A press release from the Sub Divisional Officer, Transmission Sub-Division, Kohima, informed on July 21 that the shutdown will take place from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on the given days. This is being done for stringing work of 400 kV D/C Transmission line from Imphal to New Mariani via New Kohima near Phesama Village by Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, it said. All the public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
