DIMAPUR, MAY 7 (MExN): The Department of Power today informed that there will be total shutdown of power supply in the Southern Angami region and surrounding areas on May 8 and 9 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. A press release from the department said that this is due to the construction of a 400 kV D/C (Twin) transmission line from Imphal to New Mariani via New Kohima under the North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme (NERSS-VI) project.
