We should pray for peace but rather pray for prevailing of justice in Nagaland, because if there is no justice, there is no peace. In Nagaland, right is projected as wrong and traitors are projected as nationalists, thus we have no justice in Nagaland.
Pray for reunification among the Naga brothers but not for factional reconciliation yet rather pray for political reconciliation. That is, reconciliation on the basis of Nagas are sovereign independent nation. Because if there is no political reconciliation, the factional reconciliation for a solution within the Indian Union will never be reconciliation among the Naga brothers, because it will be only creation of new faction and will bring more bloodshed among the Naga brothers. And also it will be a delaying game to solve the conflict between the two nations, which is Indian policy. Political reconciliation means the leaders/persons, those who defected from the parent body NNC and deviated from the original objective of Naga nation, have to reunite again with the parent body and original Naga national objective.
Pray to God for achieving Naga national goal but not for a political solution within the Indian Union. A solution within the Indian Union is an act of anti-Naga nation and will not be the answer to the Indo-Naga conflict. The conflict was started not because the Nagas demanded independence or any political status from India, but the Government of India sent her Armed Forces to Nagaland in 1955 in attempt to invade Nagaland and thus started the war with the Nagas. On this regards, Mr. B.N. Mulik personal Secretary of Mr. Nehru clearly stated in his book my years with Nehru that “Troops moved into Tuensang by October 1955 and the war with the Nagas started from then.” (Quote : P. 308). Therefore unconditional withdrawal of Indian occupational Forces from Nagaland is the only answer to the Indo-Naga conflict.
If some Nagas are praying for achieving Naga national goal and some Nagas pray for a political solution within the Indian Union, to whom God will answer? Indeed God has bestowed sovereignty to the Nagas, but instead of God given sovereignty if we ask a solution within the Indian Union from God again, will God be pleased with us? I believe that as God has His own purpose for the Nagas, He has been protecting Naga nation up to this 21st Century even if we refused to follow His path. This is the most important for us to understand the will of God and should have unison voice of prayer to God for one objective only.
