Kohima, February 5 (MExN): Pre-recruitment training for local youths of Kohima district will be imparted by a team from 1 Assam Rifles. They will be visiting the villages and obtaining requisite data from the eligible candidates, informed a DIPR report.
It has been informed that Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would be advertising for the post of Constable (GD) in CAPFs and Rfn/Rfw (GD) in the Assam Rifles in the first quarter of the year 2021.
Eligibility criteria for GD Category
• Education Qualification: Matriculation or class 10 passed from a recognized board or university
• Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (Upper age limit relaxable for 05 years in case of SC and ST category candidates and 03 years for OBC Category candidates)
• Physical Efficiency Test: 5 km in 24 minutes for Male and 1.6 kms in 8 1/2 minutes for female
• Cut off percentage of marks: (a) General and Ex Servicemen - 35% (b) SC/ST/OBC - 33%
• Written Test: (a) Computer Based Examination/OMR based; (b) Total Question: 100; (b) Total Marks: 100
