Dimapur, May 6 (MExN): With the opening of business units and road transportation in the state of Assam, the Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) stated “it is very critical that the district administration and law enforcing agencies continues to ensure strict vigilance and prevent any movement across the land border area in Dimapur district.”
WSYF, President, Mughavi Awomi and General Secretary, Bohoi K Yeptho in a press release appealed to the District Administration and law enforcing department to strictly implement border sealing and prevent any cross-border movement until Nagaland government officials allow such movement in the days ahead.
“We sincerely believe that this important action of land boarder sealing will continue to prevent cross boarder transmission of Covid-19 and thus ensure overall safety of Nagaland state. The WSF will give its fullest support to district administration in whatever manner that WSYF can do,” the Front stated.
