DIMAPUR, JULY 12 (MExN): Dimapur district has been without a proper mortuary for the past many years. A long felt need of the district, it appears that it will not be long before the district hospital is attached with a standard morgue. Dr. Sukhato Sema, Chief Medical Officer of the district revealed on Tuesday, July 11 that the Army is willing to fund the project. He made the disclosure during the Anti-Dengue workshop organised by the NVBDCP at Hotel Saramati. The project is said to be funded under the Indian Army’s civic action programme known as ‘Operation Sadbhavna’ at an estimated cost of around Rs. 50 lakh. When the project will thus, begin could not be ascertained.
