Kohima, December 13 (MExN): The Phek Town Baptist Church (PTBC) will be celebrating its golden jubilee from December 14 to 15 under the theme “Sound the trumpet of freedom” (Lev. 25:9). The speakers of the celebration will include Rev. Khrotso Mero, executive secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council and Rev Dr Phuveyi Dozo, senior professor and President United College of Theology & Missions, Dimapur.
On day one, Jubilee Planning Committee convener Meshüsayi Tetseo will deliver welcome address while Lozaphuhu Baptist Church pastor Rev. Kevengoyi Sakha will release souvenir.
PTBC associate pastor Nüsakho Chiero and PTBC pastor Rev. Dr. Thiipucüyi Khesoh will lead the day one and two services respectively.
Monolith unveiling service will be led by PTBC associate pastor Ngutsolo Therie while jubilee feast will be led by PTBC youth director Chivo Medeo.
The two day celebration will also witness greetings from Chozuba Village Baptist Church senior pastor Rev. Thüpupa Swuro and Rev. Dr. Dingu Kenye, president Chakhesang Baptist Church Council.
Message in song will be presented by Phek Village Baptist Church choir, Kutsapo Baptist Church Choir, Men’s Fellowship choir, Sohomi Baptist Church choir, Lozaphuhu Baptist Church Choir, CYE Choir and Mothers’ Choir.
All active members of PTBC have been requested to join the celebration.
