Pughoboto, September 7 (MExN): Pughoboto Sub Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held on September 7 at the ADC office under the chairmanship of Pughoboto SDPDB Chairman & MLA, Y. Vikheho Swu.
A DIPR report stated that ADC Phuleshe K. Yepthomi reviewed the last meeting minutes. The house discussed on implementation of ILP under Pughoboto Sub-Division whereby the district administration has been checking the documents from time to time. While discussing about the “non-local” people residing in different villages, MLA mentioned on the importance of NRC and suggested the house to approach the government to empower extension provision to the ADC Pughoboto for renewal permit which was endorsed by the Board. The house also approved to insist to the village council to maintain the status of the non-local people and give a copy to the ADC.
Regarding the restoration of water supply to Pughoboto area, the house asked the concern department to look into the problem and also agreed to call a meeting of all seven village councils and PHE department to settle the issue. The house also agreed to give one computer set under the LADP to the GHS Pughoboto.
Other agenda included discussions on coffee growers where so far 300 applications have been received from 13 villages and more application will be received till the end of September. The list will be sent to the Land Resource Department for saplings.
FRO Lobotomy Wotsa also read out the biodiversity conservation and identification of potential reserve area for creating of Green Belt. MLA requested him to prepare a link green belt map under the division. The house also approved to write a letter to the concerned department for the upgradation of Veterinary Health Center to Veterinary Dispensary.
