We need to analyze the results of reservation policy over the decades. So far, “There is no analysis if quota benefits have reached the targeted population. We have to review the criteria on the tribe or tribe-based policy for the benefit”. The competing quota demands have pitted tribes against each other.....and is worse manifestation being stuck in legal battle. Reservation is a sensitive issue. We have to look at today's reality and address those populations which deserved it the most but did not get.
Since the State has not produced sustainable industries, factories, enterprises or tapping of resources; the discrepancy in supply and demand of jobs have breached the fundamental principal of fair game. It is admitted that government jobs have reached a saturation point. As such to exclude “Creamy Layers” from reservation benefits based on income limit fixed per annum will certainly increase reservation towards its targeted population.
