To raise awareness about protective measures against COVID-19, the Phek District Police installed bamboo hand washing points in all the police stations in Phek district and four points in Phek town. According to Phek SP Vesupra Kezo, Phek Police initiated the step as a small contributionreness on safety measures. The district police force also installed banners at Pfütsero and Chizami to create public awareness, asking the people to remain vigilant and adopt good personal hygiene practices.
