Dimapur, December 21 (MExN): As a part of the ‘4th Ayurveda Day Celebration’, Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC), Dimapur under CCRAS New Delhi, M/o AYUSH, Government of India, conducted free ayurveda medical camp at Marwari Patti area, Dimapur on December 21.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Omprakash Sethi, President of Shree Digambar Jain Samaj. Dr P Sriniva, RO (Ay) Office In-Charge of RARC, Dimapur delivered an awareness talk about the activities of the Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC) Dimapur to the gathering.
During this camp about 51 patients (31 male, 20 female) were attended and utilized the services made available at the camp. The organizers also distributed Ayurvedic Medicines to the patients and Information Education and Communication material about health awareness to the patients and public.
Dr P Srinivas, Officer In-Charge, Dr Vilas, RO (Ay) and Dr Gwanchung, SRF (Ay) of RARC, Dimapur participated in the medical camp and provided services to the patients. Pradeep Setti, Social worker coordinated the programme.
