Kohima, January 19 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers through the Home Department, Police Establishment Branch, effective immediately.
As per the notification, Jasbir Singh, IPS has been repatriated from CBI, New Delhi and posted as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Law and Order. Similarly, Roopa M, IPS has been repatriated from CBI Bangalore and posted as Deputy Inspector General (HR/SJ) under IGP (CID), to look after the subject matters relating to Crime and CID. Incumbent DIG (HR/SJ) Imcharenla, IPS has been posted as DIG (NAP), Kohima.
SP (Crime) Kevithuto Sophie, IPS has been posted as Kohima Superintendent of Police while Kohima SP Manoj Kumar will take charge as SP (Crime).
