DIMAPUR, DEC 20 (MExN): The CANSSEA, Wokha Unit has taken resolutions and others thereof during the Executive body meeting held on November 17 last at DC’s Conference Hall. The resolutions passed during the meeting are:
1. The membership fees be collected at the earliest from all members.
2. The body resolved to initiate the process of legal redressal for the delay of salary for the month of September 2005.
3. To impress upon the government and the CANSSEA central office to set the process of availing the Typists of time bound ACP as any other Grade-III regular employees besides conducting of speed test in their respective Hqs for all practical reasons.
4. The Controlling Officers of various departments shall depute at least one member delegate as and when a meeting is convened and also that an explanation letter shall be served to the absent department who fails to attend the meeting twice consecutively and further action would be initiated.
5. To urge upon the government through the central office CANSSEA to expeditely implement the merger of 50% DA with the basic pay w.e.f. April 1 2004 to bring parity in the total emolument structure of the state government employees with those of the central government employees.
6. To urge the state government to resume the issuance of liveries and other curtailed perks and allowances admissible to the 4th Grade regular employees of the government which was discontinued in 1992.
7. The Executive body also unanimously decided that the ACP be immediately granted to all those eligible regular employees without any further delay and
8. The Executive body of the CANSSEA Wokha Unit also resolved to address to the imperative need to induct at least one Office bearer from all major departments to ensure transparency, broader coverage, proper co-ordination and smooth functioning of the Association.
The Executive body also elected the following Office bearers:
