All around the globe the second Sunday of the month of May is celebrated as International Mother's Day to celebrate the embodiment of love.

On the eve of Mother’s day Nagaland’s Higher& Technical Education and Tribal Affairs Minister Temjen Imna Along and Dy CM and BLP leader Y Patton extended greetings.

Minister Temjen Imna today maintained that motherhood is the noblest profession “because she nurtures and build something far more magnificent; a dwelling for an immortal soul.”

Sending his greeting to mothers across the state, the Minister said that a noble mother stretches across generations, shaping the personality and life of a child and changing the world in ways others have chosen to ignore. From the moment she discovers she carries a life in her womb, she begins her noble work, the Minister stated.

She makes room in her heart to love her dear child deeply and passionately for the rest of her life. "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world". The Minister saluted all the priceless mothers on the occasion of Mother's Day.

The Dy CM and BLP leader Y Patton extended greetings on Mothers' day, which is celebrated all over the world in respect and reverence to all the mothers. Paying respect to the mothers, Patton said that it is a mother that shapes a child's future, because mothers are role models.

“All of us have reached to our positions in life mostly because of the prayers of our mothers. A mother is a homemaker and the backbone of the family. In short, most professionally multi- tasked,” Patton maintained.

On the occasion, the Dy CM on behalf of the state BJP legislators paid tribute to “all the mothers and wished them a bundle of joy and happiness on their special day.”
