•-Responding to an article appeared in local dailies on March 16 under the caption “Deplorable Phek-Chozuba road”, I, the undersigned would like to make some clarification over the proprietorship of K.K. Chire & Sons. The gentleman has alleged that Minster Kuzholuzo Nienu is the proprietor of K.K. Chire & Sons which is not true at all and nor the minister is the contractor of Phek-Chozuba road. It is for clarification to all concerned that I am the sole proprietor of K.K. Chire & Sons and I am also the sole contractor of the project. The proprietorship of the company could be ascertained through public record.
I am not out to criticize anyone nor has any intention to create misunderstanding. I would appreciate constructive criticism however one should not make such false and fabricated allegation on others whosoever. It is evident that gentleman is trying to tarnish good image of an individual and the company as well. Dezoto Rakho had alleged that the contractor had bribed government officials to get the contract allotted to his company. I would like to sincerely state that I had never met any of the officials of DONER ministry. And, in regard to allotment of work to my firm, the work order was issued only after my company was found capable for executing the work.
Phek-Chozuba road is for the benefit of people of Phek district and with God’s blessing and with much hard work and difficulties the road is nearing completion therefore I would like to sincerely request to all concerned not to cause hindrances by publishing baseless and self fabricated statements.
