Rilan Students’ body hands away sanitizers

DIMAPUR, MARCH 16 (MExN): In the wake of the COVID-19 threat, the Rilan Village Students’ Union (RVSU) on March 16 undertook an initiative to spread awareness on the importance of personal hygiene to prevent the spread of the virus. 

As per a press release, the RVSU led by its President Thechano Kithan and General Secretary Limhajan Kikon distributed hand sanitizers and protective masks to shopkeepers and government personnel stationed at the inter-state check-post, Dillai.

“Rilan village bordering karbi anglong assam is an entry point to one side of dimapur therefore the students union stressed on compulsory use of sanitizers and masks to all business people and government personals manning the check gates,” the release said.

It further informed that the RVSU will frequently check the implementation of preventive measures till such time the danger and spread of covid19 is controlled globally.
