KOHIMA, MARCH 20 (MExN): The Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland today hosted a roundtable discussion on “Transforming Digital Commerce for the future,” focusing on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

This programme aimed to educate and empower entrepreneurs in Nagaland to tap into the potential of digital commerce and contribute to the state's economic growth.

In keynote address, P. Tokugha Sema, Director Industries & Commerce emphasized the importance of e-commerce platforms for entrepreneurs in Nagaland. He urged them to leverage digital commerce to expand their reach and grow their businesses.

The technical session featured expert speakers, including Kangzang Zeliang, Founder & CEO of Zeliang Codetech Pvt Ltd, who explained the objectives and benefits of ONDC.

Imtisunep Longchar from Ilandlo Services Pvt. Ltd guided attendees through the step-by-step process of registration. Pepenthung Lotha, Consultant at Grand Thornton Bharat LLP, introduced the Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme (UNNATI), 2024.

The session was chaired by Cholzo Sophie, Deputy Director, Industries & Commerce and moderated by Ikheshe Kahoto, Assistant Director, Industries & Commerce.
