Rozgar Mela: 197 personnel get appointment letters in Nagaland

197 individuals from Nagaland state were selected under the second tranche of Rozgar Mela at Assam Rifles Training Centre & School, Dimapur on November 22.

Dimapur, November 22 (MExN): Under the second tranche of Rozgar Mela, a total of 197 individuals from Nagaland state were selected as part of the initiative this month, out of which 123 were selected to join Assam Rifles, 35 to join CISF, 17 to join BSF, 9 for SSB, 3 for ITBP and 10 candidates were selected as professors in NIT. 

The list also includes 23 women who will join Assam Rifles in Riflewomen category, the PRO (Defence), Kohima informed in a press release. 

 

The second tranche of Rozgar Mela was held at Assam Rifles Training Centre & School, Dimapur as part of pan India virtual event across 45 locations simultaneously on November 22. 

Selected individuals were handed over the appointment letters by Rameshwar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Labour and Employment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the appointees across the nation virtually before launching the Mission Karmayogi. Altogether 71,000 appointment letters are distributed all across the nation in the second tranche.
