Maligaon, October 5 (MExN): A Railway Police Force team from Guwahati recovered gold bars worth Rs 1.12 crs from a train in Guwahati. The raid was conducted in train no 05909 DN (Avadh Assam Exp) from Guwahati to Barpeta Road station. During raid they apprehended four persons. 13 pieces of Gold bars weighing about 02.15 kgs were recovered from their possession, which were kept concealed in shoes, bags and waist bands. Later, the apprehended persons were taken into custody by DRI/Guwahati for necessary action. In this regard, DRI/Guwahati registered a case. Value of the seized Gold bars is Rs 1.12 crores approximately.
