Sainik School Punglwa welcomes alma mater

Peren, February 16 (MExN): Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland welcomed back one of its cadet, now Lieutenant Tapi Moda, on February 16, who returned to his alma mater as a commissioned officer of the esteemed Parachute Regiment.

SSP Principal Col Arvind Nautiyal welcomed the alma mater. 

Lieutenant Tapi Moda, an alumnus of SSP embarked on his journey towards military excellence by joining the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai through the NCC Special Entry Scheme in October 2022. The officer was commissioned on September 9, 2023, stated a press release issued by SSP. 

Lieutenant Tapi Moda delivered a motivational lecture to the current cadets of the school, urging them to consider a career in the Indian Armed Forces. In his lecture he dwelt on Types of Selection Entries such as NDA, CDS, TGC, NCC and JAG Entry; Preparation for SSB; Para Special Forces and their role.  Drawing from his own experiences and journey, he emphasized the values of time management, self-discipline, attitude and obedience. He also interacted with the cadets and answered to their queries on preparation and facing the SSB.

His achievements stand as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring cadets, showcasing the potential for growth and success through dedication and perseverance,” the release added.
