Kohima, January 20 (MExN): The 70th annual literary cum cultural day of the Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) under the theme “Indiginization” is all set to be held on January 25, 10:00 am at Sakhabama Village. Rtd. Director, Treasuries and Accounts, Government of Nagaland Daso Paphino will be speaking at the Inaugural session.
The event will feature cultural competition like tati (Duet), War Cry, Folktale. Meanwhile, competition such as essay, story writing, painting and photography will be based on the theme ‘Indigenization.’ In the evening session, Southern Angami Cultural Society will exhort the student gathering and Mr & Miss SASU will also be held.
The organizing Committee has informed all delegates to reach the venue by 9:00 am; submit one standard size flag at the time of arrival; and come in traditional attire. Further, all entries for story writing and essay competition have been asked to be submitted an hour ahead of the inaugural session; and should not exceed 300 words. Photography competition is open to all and entries (one photo each) is asked to be submitted in hard copy (A4).
All units have been asked to attend the session with the specified number of delegates allocated, failing which a sum of Rs. 5000 will be penalized.
