Satakha town gets new HPCL fuel station

Satakha, November 10 (MExN): A new Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) fuel station was inaugurated at School’s Colony, Satakha by HPCL Chief Regional Manager Subhra Chakraborty on November 6.

According to a press release received on Wednesday, the fuel station project was taken up under the Nagaland State Co-operative Marketing & Consumers’ Federation Ltd (MARCOFED) under the initiative of Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation Kaito G Aye, out of concern for the people of Satakha and travellers passing through the region. 

The inaugural programme began with a dedicatory prayer by Rev Honito Sema, pastor of UBC Satakha followed by ribbon cutting by CRM Subhra Chakraborty. Short speeches were given by MARCOFED Managing Director Vikuto Zhimo and Vice Chairperson of Ward Union Satakha Hokato Zhimo who acknowledged Minister’s Kaito concern for the people of Satakha. They expressed hope that the fuel station would be beneficial not only for the residents of the town but for others living in the vicinity.
