•-When present parliamentary for Social Welfare and Women Develoment Chotisuh Sazo exhorted the Govt. officals from Chakhesang community to work for the upliftment of its community and regretted that the ‘Backward’ tag labelled against the Chakhesang tribe is a great shame is the right move at the right time. At present Chakhesangs cannot rue over the past in which each of us cannot undo it, instead we must focus our attention into the future and accept the reality of the situation for our upcoming generation to contribute ourselves for the benefit of the Naga people as a whole. It is time to realise how many times do we have to regret for ourlittle folly committed by few vested individuals, in fact Chakhesangs were living in close proximity with the Angamis and Semas whom we consider as our brothers and sisters and the state capital where there are ample opportunities to invest in various activities. The best remedy to remove our backwardness is to opt for discipline and higher education which is readily available at our doopstep which in turn will generate more employment opportunities as well as fit ourselves into the highest hierarchy at the bureaucratic level. At present we need leaders who push instead of who please it comes to the development of our society.
