Dignitaries with graduating students of Sazolie College on July 30
Kohima, July 31 (MExN): Sazolie College, Phezhu, Jotsoma, held its Graduation Day ceremony on July 30 and honoured the academic achievements of its graduating students at Vineizono Hall.
Dr Gopal Chetri, Principal Sazolie College congratulated the graduating students and urged them to view graduation as the beginning of a new journey.
Presenting the Academic Report, Dr Puspanjoli D Nakhro, Academic Dean, congratulated the students for their outstanding performances and highlighted the college’s academic achievements.
The Commencement Speaker, Prof Dipak Sinha, Pro-Vice Chancellor, School of Agricultural Science, Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus, encouraged the graduates to pursue their careers with determination, adaptability and commitment to excellence. He urged them to explore emerging opportunities and contribute to addressing challenges within their communities.
Degrees were formally conferred on the graduating students, followed by presentation of academic honours. The Alumni Academic Excellence Award was presented to Talirenla, while the Student of the Year Award went to Bendanglemla.
The programme was chaired by Edward P Sangtam Assistant Professor (Dept of Political Science).
The programme featured musical presentations by Akhrülü Swuro of Political Science and Benchumo T. Ezung of of History Department, besides a valedictory address by Talirenla.
Ajungla Jamir, Asst. Professor (Dept of Education) and Nzanthung Kikon, Chaplain, Sazolie College pronounced invocation and benediction respectively.
