SCRW and PFMS State Directorate conduct state-level online training 

Kohima, July 16 (MExN): The State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW) Nagaland and Public Finance Management System (PFMS) State Directorate, Kohima conducted a one-day state-level online training on PFMS on July 15. It was hosted through a live video conference from Kohima provided by the State National Informatics Centre (NIC).


SRCW Nagaland in a press release stated that the training emphasised on Centrally Sponsored Schemes under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GoI-Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), 181 –Women Helpline and Sakhi – One Stop Centre (OSC).


In her keynote address, Sarah R Ritse, Commissioner & Secretary to Government of Nagaland & Administrator, Nagaland State Social Welfare Board, spoke on the importance of implementing PFMS, as directed by the Ministry of Finance, GoI. She also acknowledged the major role played by the Deputy Commissioner as the chairperson of District Task Force in implementing the cited schemes at the district level.


Vishito Kulnu, Assistant Accounts Officer, PFMS State Directorate, was the resource person for the technical session. The participants included representatives from the District Administration and personnel from the MSK-BBBP and Sakhi-OSCs from all the districts of Nagaland, and the 181-WHL Nagaland.
